Claude Gindrat, 30. owner of New Sampaguita Residence in Sitio Tulubhan in Barangay Manoc-Manoc allegedly sold a sachet of metamphetamine hydrochloride or locally known as shabu to a poseur buyer at around 6:30 a.m.
Two other suspected sachets of shabu were also confiscated from the suspect, the police said.
Operatives also recovered from his live-in partner 26-year old Mary love Guzman, native of Murcia, Negros Occidental, a sachet of suspected shabu during the body search.
Two hourse after, elements of Boracay Tourist Assistance Center (BTAC) and Malay Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Group nabbed a security guard for selling illegal drugs at around 8:30 a.m. in a buy-bust operation.
Errol Elisan, 33, native of San Jose Romblon and temporarily staying at Sitio Lugotan in Boracay Manoc-Manoc sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a posuer buyer.
Seized from Elisan were the P1,000.00 marked money and another plastic sachet of shabu.
The suspects are detained at BTAC lock-up cells pending the filing of charges for violations of Section 5 and Section 11 of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Boracay Island and the three Barangays of Yapak, Manoc-Manoc and Balabag remained in the 'hot list' of the Philippine National Police (PNP) ongoing barangay clearing operations.
