In a media report, the police force in Boracay is all set in providing security and order for the major influx of tourists in the last month of the year. About 50 police officers are added to the existing 80 personnel of Boracay Tourist Assistance Center.

Meanwhile, Caticlan Jetty Port Administrator Niven Maquirang revealed that many of the travel agents from China had expressed interests in bringing in their clients to Boracay, especially in 2017.

Maquirang added that this is mainly due to the positive visit of President Rodrigo Roa Duterete in China recently.
